Robin & Ryan engaged! Santa Barbara, CA

Yesterday I drove down to Santa Barbara for Robin & Ryan's engagement pictures. They are getting married this September up in Nevada City, and I can't wait to see all the amazingness that I know their wedding will be :) They wanted their engagement pictures down in SB because that's where they met and fell in love. And luckily, they knew someone who has this amazing property that we could use for the pictures. When she told me about this place and I saw pictures, I couldn't believe how lucky we were! Pictures of this home were published in Santa Barbara Magazine a few years back, so of course this was going to be one breath taking place. The property has exotic birds, a pond, barns, a waterfall, and the whole place feels like you're in a tropical paradise. This was the first time I'd met Robin & Ryan, so it was fun getting to know them. They are two of the coolest people ever; they love to laugh, love to fish, and have some great style! At the end of the shoot we headed up to the recently built waterfall. When we got there, Robin looked at me and asked if they could get in it. I OF COURSE said yes, and in the water they went. They were soaking wet, and having the time of their lives! It was awesome :) See you two in September!! PS. Ryan works for Dreamworks, so look for his name {Ryan Thomas} in the credits next time you watch a Dreamworks movie ;)
