Megan & Steve engaged! Santa Barbara, CA {Santa Barbara Zoo}

Meeting a super cool vendor at a wedding is always a plus. And when that super cool vendor, Candi of All Dolled Up, tells multiple engaged friends about me, I consider that an honor! Well thanks to Candi, who I met at Jocelyn & Brooks' wedding, I will be photographing Megan & Steve's July 2012 wedding! I am so thankful this happened and beyond excited because Candi will be in Megan's wedding as the maid of honor!! For Megan & Steve's engagement pictures we headed to the Santa Barbara Zoo. I was really excited when she suggested this place because Adam & I had been there before and I saw a lot of good picture opportunities. We walked around the zoo, stopping to look at animals as we went and just talking and getting to know each other. Megan & Steve met on a blind date and have been inseparable ever since. After dating for one year, Steve proposed to his beautiful girlfriend on New Years. They are so cute together, and the way they talk to each other just confirms how much they love one another. When Megan came back out after changing into her last outfit, we started talking about sequins and jewels (because she was wearing a sequin shirt) and she told me that her wedding will be filled with both of those. A girl after my own heart ;) And now I'm pleased to show you the adorable Megan & Steve :) Megans beautiful engagement ring!
