2013 was an amazing year. I photographed 38 weddings, 41 engagement/couples sessions, 2 proposals, 2 maternity sessions, 16 family sessions, 11 boudoir sessions, 8 cal poly grads, 8 inspiration shoots, I was featured in 6 print magazines, and had 31 online blog features. I was named a top wedding photographer by Destination Weddings & Honeymoons Magazine and Le Magnifique Blog. Of all of those things, the highlights were photographing my best friends proposal, one of my best friends weddings (Sara & Vince), photographing the wedding of Anne who was my first paying client ever 6 years ago when I did her high school senior pictures, working multiple weddings with my good friend Addison of Twigss Floral Studio, doing an inspiration shoot with my friend Danae of Danae Grace Events, photographing 2 other friends weddings (Jill's wedding and Meg's wedding) and so much more!

Amidst all of the crazy busy wedding stuff, I managed to have a little fun outside of weddings too! Adam and I took Sawyer on his first camping trip to Lake Alpine (which he loved!), we took a week off and went to Cabo where we relaxed poolside, we bought a Contax 645 and started shooting medium format film, I graduated from Cal Poly with a degree in photography, Adam and I both turned 24, I went to WPPI in Las Vegas with my wedding photographer friends and had a blast, we moved into a new house where I officially have an office and a walk in closet ;), we spent the summer in the Bay Area while Adam did a full time internship in San Francisco and he still shot almost every wedding with me this summer, we attended a good friends wedding in San Diego, and after 6.5 years, WE GOT ENGAGED this past November!

This may have been my busiest year yet, but it made me appreciate all that I have and the amazing clients who trust me to document their big day. 2014 is going to be an even busier year, and I'm ready for all that this new year has to offer!
