Our Story

After dating since we were 17 years old (yes, we’re high school sweethearts), we got married on August 30, 2014 at Flying Caballos Ranch in San Luis Obispo. (see our wedding on Green Wedding Shoes) We are from the Bay Area but part of our heart will always be in San Luis Obispo. We are both Cal Poly SLO grads, and loved our time there!

We’ve renovated two houses, one in Livermore (#PoffPad) and one in Atascadero, that’s now our AirBNB (Atown Aframe). We are currently searching for our next adventure and always looking for new opportunities. In March 2019 our first baby boy, Fischer Jeff David Poffenbarger arrived, and in March 2021 our second baby boy, Merritt August Poffenbarger joined us! (#FischerPoff and #MerrittPoff).

We often say silly puns or one sneak in one liners from rap songs, and we love laughing with each other and our clients. When I’m not photographing weddings, you’ll find me thrift store shopping, hanging with my friends, blogging about fashion, interiors, and our life at Part Of The Poffs, catching up on countless TV shows or doing something fun with Adam and our boys. People are always surprised to find out that this girls’ favorite music is rap, but I just say it’s because I’m from the Bay Area! I have always been a dreamer and a doer; I set big goals for myself, which nothing will stop me from achieving. When Adam’s not filming or editing weddings, you’ll find him woodworking, tending to our vegetable garden, finding his way to a specialty coffee shop, or doing something outdoors. He has a lot of hobbies, including dirt biking, fishing, rock climbing and playing guitar/bass. When he wants to learn something new, he puts 110% into it and quickly becomes good at it! And we own multiple AIRBNB’s, and are always working on some sort of home renovation project.
