Elizabeth & Robert married! Carmel, CA
It all started at the Long Beach Airport. After a long weekend in Southern California, both Robert and Elizabeth were headed home to San Francisco. The terminal was pretty busy and as they were getting ready to board the plane, Robert looked around and spotted Elizabeth. She was playing on her phone and he later found out she was playing scrabble with her mom. The time came to board the plane, and Robert had a middle seat. Elizabeth soon walked up, and happened to have the window seat right next to him. He took this chance to talk to the girl who caught his eye just minutes before. As they began to talk Elizabeth quickly made sure to tell him that she had to work on her thesis during the flight; Robert viewed this as a challenge and they proceeded to talk the entire time.
As they landed, he slyly asked, “and what was your number?” His charm seemed to work because Elizabeth gave him her number! Less than thirty minutes after parting ways, Robert called to set up their first official date.
Robert popped the question on Friday the thirteenth, about a year after they met. He led her through the city to all the places they went on their first date. Each place had a letter and some small thing for her to bring along. In the end, she found him in the middle of Golden Gate Park, under the beautiful trees with a picnic. Right there he got down on one knee and proposed; she said yes!! They picked an eternity ring as the engagement ring because they decided from the moment they agreed to be husband and wife they were eternally bound. The solitaire ring will be for the wedding, to make it a “sparkly day”!

They opted to do a "First Look" and see each other before the ceremony, to ensure they had more time for portraits and so they could mingle at cocktail hour with their guests
