Isabelle & Bryce married! Big Sur, CA
In August of 2005 both of them chose orders to Commander Carrier Strike Group Five on-board the USS Kitty Hawk in Yokosuka, Japan. They worked together for years with a "hello" here, and "how are you?" there, and once in a while "you're late" or "can you fill in for me?" It was strictly a working relationship and nothing more. They may not have been the best of friends, but after three years of working together they finally hung out and got to know each other. He made her laugh, she made him laugh, and they realized they had much more in common than having a great work ethic. In the summer of 2008, Bryce & Isabelle finally had their first date. Yet they had to remain professional and hide their relationship from their co-workers. They both decided to leave the military once their terms were over and moved to California in 2009. Soon after, they adopted their dog Lily. They both loved California, but it was time to explore a new place. Isabelle decided to attend the University of Rhode Island, so in January of 2012 they drove to Rhode Island, and they saw some of the most wonderful parks of the U.S. along the way.
In August of 2012 they were invited to Walt Disney World in Florida for a family vacation. After 4 years of loving each other, on August 7th, 2012 inside Cinderella's Castle, after the fireworks show, Bryce got down on one knee and proposed to Isabelle with an amazing ring. She of course said "Yes!" She was very surprised and there was even cheering and applause from everyone in the restaurant. After 5 years and 19 days of loving each other, they exchanged vows at Wind & Sea in Big Sur!
