A California Vibes, Festival Wedding in Savannah, Georgia // Bay Area Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Mid December Adam and I flew to Savannah, Georgia for our last wedding of the year!! The bride, Nicole, found me through Green Wedding Shoes and had actually contacted me before she was even engaged. She’s a wedding planner, florist and owner of a bridal boutique, Ivory & Beau, in Savannah. I’d been seeing and hearing about their wedding for months leading up to the day, and I knew it was going to be amazing. She told me about the reception in giant tipis and I couldn’t wait to see that in person. Their wedding was very California meets Georgia, and felt like a total festival. From their food truck to the decor, to the dance floor, to the relaxed environment, it was like a coachella wedding! These two not only pulled off an incredibly detailed and fun wedding, but it was also such a sweet day. They both cried a few times and the groom Alex just kept saying how amazing this day was and how excited he was. It was a great way to end our 2018 wedding season and I’ve been DYING to share this wedding with you!!

From the bride Nicole: Working in the wedding industry for 5 years, I dreamed of the day I would be the bride…not the planner or the florist or the bridal consultant. So when Alex proposed, it was game on. The theme of the wedding really came from our personal style as a couple and if you were to come into our home, you’d know it. Old Roberds Dairy Farm was the perfect setting for our giant tipis while the large oak tree dripping with Spanish moss was perfect for the ceremony!

Best advice for planning: Be yourself and do whatever you want!!! Guests will love the experience!
