Mid December Adam and I flew to Savannah, Georgia for our last wedding of the year!! The bride, Nicole, found me through Green Wedding Shoes and had actually contacted me before she was even engaged. She’s a wedding planner, florist and owner of a bridal boutique, Ivory & Beau, in Savannah. I’d been seeing and hearing about their wedding for months leading up to the day, and I knew it was going to be amazing.Read More

Kristine is also a wedding photographer, and a good friend of mine! We met a few years ago and a few of us Bay Area wedding industry girls quickly became friends. We all were invited to their wedding in Italy, and of course Kaylia of Tumbleweed Floral Truck and Elise of Brannan Events pitched in too, so it was a bunch of friends helping their friend have her dream wedding! They picked this incredible villa nestled in Tuscany’s countryside, and we all got to spend a few days before the wedding exploring together.Read More
Another wedding season down (number 9 to be exact!), which means it's time for another "Favorite Moments" post. This year was a fun one!! We went to Italy, Georgia, and Palm Springs for three beautiful weddings. I also photographed weddings for 3 fellow wedding photographers and 1 planner. It's always a honor to be asked to shoot a wedding for someone else in the wedding industry!Read More
Lauren and Miguel had such a fun wedding day!! Not only did Adam and I get to work with our friends Brannan Events and Tumbleweed Floral Truck, but we captured some super fun moments of these two getting down on the dance floor AND jumping in the pool at the end of the night! We love couples who are free spirited and down to just enjoy their day and have a good time :Read More
Monique and Brandon are the most laid back, easy people. They were just so happy to be celebrating with their friends and family, which is how it should be! And the coolest part? Monique’s parents got married at this same venue years ago!Read More
Truly the most important part for us both- we wanted everyone to have a blast, dance all night, and remember our wedding as one hell of a party. Between the open bar and the DJ throwing it back to our high school/early college days, it was definitely a success!Read More
I first met Josselyn when she modeled for our boho festival wedding last Spring. She got engaged soon after and emailed me asking what dates I still had open and that she really wanted to work with me and my girl Morgan of Spreading Lovely. The stars aligned and we both had the date open that her venue also had open! A few months later they came down to SLO for their engagement session and I took them out some backroads to the perfect field. We had the best time their with their dog Brody and the golden light from the sun couldn't have been more perfect. Plus when I saw that Josselyn was wearing vans with her maxi dress, I knew we were the perfect fit!!Read More
From the groom Curtis: We met on a college spring break trip in Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Fast forward years later to the proposal on Christmas Day in front of the family. Cynthia opened a giant box filled with balloons that were tied to a ring. As the balloons lifted the ring I got on one knee and asked her to marry me (She said yes). We stumbled upon our venue during a work Christmas party the same year. We loved the feel and atmosphere of the winery. We were drawn in by the inclusive yet spacious indoor/outdoor setup. Beautiful wine barrels and kings tables that gave off a rustic yet elegant vibe. We chose soft neutral colors paired with lots of candles, Edison bulbs, market lights and candle chandeliers to help bring our “rustic elegance” theme to life. Our venue was dressed with beautiful soft neutral and blush toned flowers with a combination of greenery. We used a combination of gold, rose gold, blush and navy for our bridal party. Our ceremony took place in the romantic candle lit barrel room with a surprise mariachi band exit of the bride and groom. We are surrounded by the most fun and loving group of family and friends who all love to dance and party late into the night. Our dj and song list were meticulously picked to cater to nostalgic memories of the bride and groom and keep the dance floor full all night(mission accomplished). Among things served were signature bride and groom cocktail drinks as well as a beer wall serving the grooms favorite local craft brews. All together a night filled with dancing, great food and drinks, lots of memories, and stacks of drunken photo booth pictures. We wanted to give our friends and family a night to remember forever and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
