I walked into the girls getting ready room at Biddle Ranch and Christine got a huge smile on her face when she saw me. (we hadn’t met before) I walked over and she told me that ever since she saw her friend model for me for a wedding styled shoot a few years ago, at this exact same venue, she knew she wanted me to be her wedding photographer!Read More
Ever since their engagement session, I knew Jen and Casey were my kind of people. They were so laid back, funny, always laughing, and down for anything. And I know they can roll with the punches because shortly before their engagement session in Morro Bay over the summer, Jen got pooped on by a bird but managed to laugh it off.Read More
Monique and Brandon are the most laid back, easy people. They were just so happy to be celebrating with their friends and family, which is how it should be! And the coolest part? Monique’s parents got married at this same venue years ago!Read More
I do engagement sessions for 99% of my clients, but we didn't this time around. Luckily Lauren and Mitch are so kind and let me right in. I hadn't heard much about their wedding day since we didn't get to chat at an engagement session, so I was REALLY excited when I stumbled upon Lauren's bouquet on Instagram the morning of her wedding.Read More
Truly the most important part for us both- we wanted everyone to have a blast, dance all night, and remember our wedding as one hell of a party. Between the open bar and the DJ throwing it back to our high school/early college days, it was definitely a success!Read More
I first met Josselyn when she modeled for our boho festival wedding last Spring. She got engaged soon after and emailed me asking what dates I still had open and that she really wanted to work with me and my girl Morgan of Spreading Lovely. The stars aligned and we both had the date open that her venue also had open! A few months later they came down to SLO for their engagement session and I took them out some backroads to the perfect field. We had the best time their with their dog Brody and the golden light from the sun couldn't have been more perfect. Plus when I saw that Josselyn was wearing vans with her maxi dress, I knew we were the perfect fit!!Read More
Nikki & Kyle are those clients you want. They are fun, easygoing, like to snuggle for the sake of a good photo, and are open to suggestions. They first told me they didn't want to do a first look, but after I sent them my long (but very detailed) list about why I encourage couples to do one, they changed their mind. A lot of couples don't realized that the first look just isn't about that moment of seeing each other. Instead, it's about how you want to spend your wedding day.Read More
Adam and I have known Lizzy since high school, so it was so fun to shoot her wedding! When she reached out about wedding photography, I was honored! We met up last year in Santa Barbara for their engagement session (link below) and strolled through the most amazing cactus garden. Fast forward to their wedding day and they had such a beautiful outdoor wedding in Malibu literally right next to the ocean. It was such a fun day and they even had a surprise 80’s dance band at the reception that all of their guests loved!! Every toast that their wedding party made was so sweet and hilarious, and you could tell that everyone truly loved and supported them.
