Lauren & Tyler married!! Marin County, CA

Lauren and Tyler met after they both signed up to go on a mission trip to Haiti 3 years ago. The teams met for the first time in December of 2010. This was midway through Lauren's freshman year of college, and Tyler was a junior. Lauren had so many questions about what it was like to go on a mission trip with CBU, so of course she directed them to the team cutie, Tyler.

Tyler went to Ethiopia the year before with CBU, but was not used to going on a team that had girls. He was worried about being distracted by one cute, spunky blonde girl. They began talking through Facebook about Lauren’s questions, but these conversations quickly turned personal. It wasn’t long before they were spending hours talking, getting to know each other and loving every minute. They wanted an informal place to hang out, and get to know each other better, so they decided it would be fun to play basketball together. Lauren and Tyler had wonderful conversations, and got to know each other really well on the basketball court of CBU. The trip they signed up for was rerouted to Costa Rica because of violence in Haiti, so Lauren and Tyler got to spend 3 weeks together in a tropical paradise, as they grew as a couple.

Once they returned from Costa Rica they began dating officially, and the rest has been history. They have already been to 3 countries together: Costa Rica, England, and Germany. Their journey has led them here, and now they are husband and wife. This past Saturday they were married at San Geronimo Golf Course in Marin County!
